My Review

First of all thank you so much to Penguin Random House Children's Publishing for my early copy of Soundless by Richelle Mead.

I'm a huge fan of Richelle Mead's books I loved The Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series, I've also read her Georgina Kincaid series which is also a fun series to read. I meet Richelle Mead at a book signing when she did her UK tour in 2010 it was so lovely meeting her, she's one of my best author's ever I think she's amazing and I will read anything she write/publish.

I  really enjoyed Soundless I thought the book was really unique, I loved that it was based on Chinese Folklore. I thought it was interesting how the characters were deaf and so therefore sign language was a big part of the book thats what I loved the most about the book.  Richelle Mead writing is spectacular as always. Soundless is a fantasy standalone novel, this book is really fast paced I read it in two days. My only complaint about this book was that it was too short and the character building wasn't great, and there was instant love but that didn't bother me as much. The ending was a bit rushed, but liked I said it's a very unique/fast paced read and if you're a Richelle Mead fan like I am I would definitely recommend Soundless. My rating for Soundless is four stars.

Richelle Mead has a new series coming out in 2016 and I couldn't be more happy about it! I'm SO EXCITED!!! :D

My Review

Thank you so much to Penguin Random House Children's Publisher for my copy of The Rose Society.
First of all I'm a huge fan of Marie Lu's books I loved her Legend series. I really enjoyed The Young Elites. When I started The Rose Society I thought the beginning of the story was a bit slow, but I wanted to know what happens so I kept on reading. I love it how you don't have your typical hero in this story I found that refreshing. I love how dark these stories are, Marie Lu's world building is amazing, I love her writing.

I loved reading from Adelina's POVS, I found it really interesting how Maire Lu made you have a love/hate relationship with her but in the end I kind of felt sorry for her.
The Second half of the story really picked itself up, a lot more action packed that ending was brilliant I can't wait to see where Marie Lu takes Adelina's story. I'm so looking forward to book 3. I'm rating The Rose Society four stars.
